Eurosatory 2026: Skeleton Technologies and KNDS France sign defence collaboration declaration

Skeleton Technologies has signed a Joint Declaration with KNDS France at Eurosatory 2026, advancing a decade of technical discussions on military vehicle power systems to the next level.

This week in Paris, Estonian innovations meet pan-European industrial might. Tallinn-founded supercapacitor maker Skeleton Technologies has signed a Joint Declaration with French defence manufacturer KNDS France at the Eurosatory 2026 conference in Paris, formalising plans to explore collaboration on advanced military vehicles.

Eurosatory as a connecting bridge

The declaration was signed by Arnaud Castaignet, Senior Vice President of Strategic Affairs at Skeleton Technologies Group and Managing Director of Skeleton Technologies SAS, and Olivier Travert, Chief Sales Executive Officer of KNDS France. Estonian Defence Minister Hanno Pevkur and French Minister Delegate for the Armed Forces and Veterans Affairs Alice Rufo witnessed the signing.

The two companies have been in advanced technical discussions since 2014, aided in part by Skeleton’s existing defence hub in Toulouse. Potential joint projects include power systems for the 40 CT medium-calibre remote weapon station and development work linked to main battle tanks.

Taavi Madiberk, CEO and co-founder of Skeleton Technologies, said France and Estonia “share the same commitment to security and European sovereignty” despite their difference in size, adding: “As Europe reinvests in its defence, innovation and industrial cooperation have never been more important.”

The MoU builds on an existing cooperation framework focused on sovereign European defence capabilities, and is intended to open new areas of collaboration for NATO militaries and their allies.
