The Estonian cyber innovation centre CR14 helps to conduct the world's largest cyber exercises, helping NATO and various partners to boost their cyber defence capabilities. Exercises at CR14's cyber training ranges (e.g. Locked Shields, Crossed Swords, Cyber Coalition and Defence Cyber Marvel) involve thousands of participants from around the world. These exercises are crucial for testing and refining strategic plans and identifying defence gaps. CR14 is also actively involved in a number of cybersecurity research and development projects. As a NATO DIANA test centre, they also help test and validate the latest defence technologies. CR14 and its team have been conducting cyber operations and exercises since 2011, initially as part of the Estonian Defence Forces and now as an independent foundation.
