The Estonian pavilion of Expo Milano world exhibition has already been visited by three million people, which is also a record-breaking achievement in history.
In the view of head of the EXPO Estonian representation Andres Kask, the stately number of three million has been reached. “If one compares this figure to the size of the population in Estonia, then in Milan, our pavilion has already been visited by people twice the size of the population in Estonia. Undoubtedly, it is a big number of which to be proud. At the same time, we hope that over the remaining week and a half, a large number of visitors would still find their way to our pavilion,” Kask noted. He added that precisely over the past month, the number of the visitors of the world exhibition has continuously increased. “There are hours-long queues in the pavilions and people seize this final opportunity to experience the world exhibition.”
Within half a year, the pavilion of Estonia has served as a venue for several high-level meetings and events of which the last one included the visit of Prime Minister Taavi Rõivas and the IT conference that took place at the same time. The pavilion of Estonia displays the exhibits of a total of 40 Estonian companies and organisations.
