For the Estonian National Day at the EXPO Milano, the Amanjeda by Katrin Kuldma exclusive Art Couture dresses for women and ART T-Shirts series sporty chic outfits for men will be made.
Our guides will first wear the Amanjeda Art Couture collection on the Estonian National Day 7 June in Milan. “For us, it is a great recognition to have one of Estonia’s most valued fashion designers to design tailored clothes embellished with national motifs for our guides. Exceptionally gorgeous dresses and T-shirts introducing the best of Estonian art will definitely capture the attention of visitors and perfectly introduce our modern fashion design,” said Andres Kask, the EXPO Milano Estonian representation project manager.
The collections of the Amanjeda Art Couture entail the signature style of Amanjeda – Muhu inspired motifs combined with the art of Anna Litvinova. The EXPO guides will wear the unique-patterned cotton sateen dresses on most formal occasions.
Amanjeda by Katrin Kuldma is an Estonian designer brand, which has also been introduced abroad. “The Amanjeda ready-to-wear collections have been presented at the Milan Fashion Week for three seasons. In 2014, the Amanjeda collection was chosen for the boutique of new designers curated by Dolce & Gabbana. From here, Amanjeda found its way to its current partner in Milan – the Vittorio Emanuele Showroom. The Amanjeda collections are currently sold in Milan, Moscow, Riga and Tallinn,” said Katrin Kuldma.
The opening series of AMANJEDA ART T-SHIRTS is dedicated to the art of Eduard Wiiralt. Serving as white canvases, the T-shirts feature the famous works of Eduard Wiiralt in silk print. The Art T-shirts opening series features the amazing graphic piece titled “A Lying Tiger”. The photo model for the AMANJEDA ART T-SHIRTS “A Lying Tiger” series is the successful Estonian hurdler Rasmus Mägi who won the silver medal at the European Championships in Zurich in 2014.
The T-shirts have been made in Estonia from beginning to end. Two fabric options exist for both women and men – a soft bamboo and a stronger enzyme finished cotton. Currently, the only Estonian factory producing world class fabrics has all necessary environmental certificates ensuring environmental sustainability, compliant with international standards. The T-shirt designs have been inspired by the elements of the Amanjeda classical men’s shirts and take into account the characteristics of presenting valued graphic art.
