Welcome to the Opening of Estonian Business and Innovation Agency’s (Enterprise Estonia) Office to the EU.
The event will center around the theme of “Building An Innovative and Competitive Europe: Advancing Green, Digital, and Sustainable Sectors.”
Innovation is the engine of economic growth, creating new industries and revitalizing existing ones. A competitive Europe can better leverage technological advancements, leading to increased productivity and economic prosperity. This theme reflects the current priorities and challenges facing the European Union as it strives to enhance its global competitiveness while promoting sustainability and digital transformation.
For the EU’s innovation capacity to truly flourish and its global competitiveness to rise, enhanced cooperation between the public and private sectors is essential. Together, they can drive the implementation of the recently unveiled proposals from the Draghi and Letta reports.
Estonia is a digital state where all public sector services are online. Estonian e-Residency enables also non-Estonians to access our e-services and manage a business online without being in the country. Estonia is a top startup hub, with the highest number of unicorns per capita. Estonian companies are at the forefront of innovation, making significant contributions to global advancements.
Join us in welcoming Skeleton Technologies, Up Catalyst, Stargate Hydrogen Solutions and Cybernetica, who will be sharing their insights and contributing to our discussions. Their valuable input will enrich the debate on the EU’s innovation capacity and competitiveness.
We look forward to seeing you at this engaging and inspiring event.
